We bid farewell to our intern Devon Hirth, who will begin his final semester at Maryville University in January.

Our friend Jill Downen becomes the first act3 artist-in-residence, installing her piece Five O'Clock Shadow in the wall of our studio. We captured the installation process on film, and the mini documentary will premiere soon. To check out photos of the installation, click here.

We head to St. Francis Hospital in Memphis to film a health information manager in action for the first installment of the "A Day in the Life of a HIM Professional" video profile series. The videos will help AHIMA tell the story about the benefits and rewards of a career in health information management.

Continuing our relationship with Metro Theater Company, we delivered a storyboard, entitled "Why Metro Matters: The Metro Theater Company Story," and a strategy recommendation to help them tell that unique story to the world.

As it developed its dual exhibit featuring multimedia artists Lutz Bacher and Aïda Rulova, The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis asked act3 to help tell the story. We contributed to the exhibit, open now through January 2009, with a mind map poster exploring the connections and appropriations behind the work, and a documentary film that takes viewers behind the scenes of the Lutz Bacher installation.

We officially kick off our partnership with Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority with a Framing Session in Atlanta with members of the AEPhi national leadership team. The film project, which will tell the story of AEPhi's first 100 years, will premiere at the sorority's centennial convention in June 2009.

We interview bowling legend Pete Weber, considered by some to be the greatest bowling talent in the world, for an upcoming NPR piece. As a bonus, Pete gives act3's Ben Kaplan a bowling lesson, and his bowling game improves dramatically.
